Alphateck Canada Investments Inc. visited Nanaimo in 2007 and was drawn to the location. They began researching investment opportunities to diversify their England based portfolio. Their analysis indicated that there was a potential need for a mid-size, high quality, condominium project in downtown Nanaimo. They undertook to purchase a key property in the downtown core and carry the design through to a completed Development Permit. Due to market conditions at the time, the project was put on hold and is currently for sale.

Being based in England, Alphateck Canada Inc engaged Tectonica Management Inc. to provide owner advocacy and project management services. We coordinated the design process with D’Amrosio architecture + urbanism ensuring that Alphteck’s design goals and objectives were maintained. Tectonica acted as liaison with the City of Nanaimo and was involved in all public presentations through to the completion of the Development Permit.
